We had our entire roof replaced in May. Decided to wait until we were into the rainy season to post a review. Received several bids from various contractors. HER roofing wasn't the cheapest but we are glad we chose them. Good communication and excellent product knowledge were what impressed us. Excellent customer service and attention to detail is what we got. If I had to do a new roof all over again, I would choose HER roofing and not even get other bids.

Very professional in their approach. Jana came by to give us a quote and went over what was likely to be needed. The roofing crew came out within a week and clearly communicated the findings and options. They completed our work in one day and did a phenomenal job! We’re super happy.

Her roofing recently installed new gutters and fixed some problem spots on our roof. Their quote was reasonable. They were great at explaining details and questions. They were quick to get the work done. The work looks great and looks durable. I would highly recommend Her Roofing.

From the first visit with Jana, we felt taken care of. Everything was explained thoroughly and our questions were answered without feeling talked down to or taken advantage of by up selling. We had that issue with a few other companies and it was refreshing to just have a conversation about roofs with an expert to find what we needed to get for our home.

They really lived up to the honesty part in the name, a week or so after the install, they called us up and said that the ice damn shield along the eves was never actually installed and they'd like to come out and fix it. There is no way we would have known that it wasn't installed until replacing the roof in 25 years. They showed up that same day and got it installed.

The crew were all very nice and professional and took their time cleaning up afterwards. If you need a new roof, then I highly recommend HER Roofing!

HER was a last minute addition to the list of roofing companies that I requested an estimate to replace our roof. They came out quickly and were very informative. Although they were not the lowest price that we were quoted (they were also not the highest) their estimate was very detailed and specific and it listed out all materials and quantities leaving very little unknown. This gave us the most comfort when paying for such an expensive home repair. From our perspective, the only thing in question that could change the estimate is what they would find when they ripped the old roof off because they have no visibility into what was under there. They got us on the schedule fast and were great at communicating if there were any changes. They also got the job done in 2 days and did a very good job cleaning up both days.

From start to finish, HER Roofing made it so easy. Preston was great during the initial consultation. Explained the entire process and what to expect. Both Jana (owner) and Jazmine (front office) were amazing at communication. They were great at getting back to me quickly with any of my questions. The crew were really friendly, worked quickly, and were incredibly thorough in their cleanup, both during the demo and the final stage. Amazing company!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do homes near the St. Johns Bridge have unique roof issues?+

Yes. The river proximity and elevated location lead to higher humidity and occasional wind shear, which can accelerate shingle wear and cause flashing to loosen.

What time of year is best for roof maintenance in St. Johns?+

Ideally fall (before heavy rain) and spring (after storms). This ensures gutters are clear and moss doesn’t gain a foothold during wet seasons.

Can you maintain historic homes in the area?+

Absolutely. We’ve serviced multiple homes along N Willamette Blvd and take special care with materials that match the original roof’s integrity.
